Resistors use a system of colored bands to indicate their resistance value, tolerance, and sometimes temperature coefficient. This calculator helps you decode these bands for 4, 5, and 6-band resistors.

Band Configuration
- 4-Band Resistor: 1st digit, 2nd digit, multiplier, tolerance.
- 5-Band Resistor: 1st digit, 2nd digit, 3rd digit, multiplier, tolerance.
- 6-Band Resistor: Same as 5-band, with an additional band for the temperature coefficient (ppm/°C).
